 Monday, July 1st. Yesterday was an historic day for Parma MSI in more ways than were
explained in the story of the games. Yes, Parma won it's second tournament
within a week and Dan Victor pitched a no-hitter in the second game but also
that victory was the 1000th of Coach Gregg Pelka's career with Parma MSI. Over
the last twenty one years, Coach P has given the youth of America a chance to
better themselves through baseball by providing this summer team that travels
around the country. By getting the exposure, many players are seen by pro
scouts and college recruiters and are able to move to the next level whether it
be a college education or a pro baseball career. Hats off to Coach Pelka for
his contribution to the game of baseball and the boys who play it.
