My name is ______________.  I live at _________________ in the Antelope Valley.  My property is approximately ____ miles from the proposed FBMP (racetrack) case #02-176.  I moved to this area of the valley for its isolation, majestic views, and for the peace and quite.  I believe that all of this will be degraded if this racetrack is approved.  Not only will the quality of my life be affected, the value of my property will be reduced.  Who is going to want to buy my house knowing that a racetrack is within sight and hearing distance?  Also, if you allow a zoning change in this case, what will stop you and future supervisors from allowing more zoning changes, even closer to my property?  Please do not approve the project.

Sincerely,

 To whom it may concern,

My name is _____________.  I live at ___________________.  It has come to my attention that a proposed racetrack, FBMP, case # 02-176, has been recommended for approval by the L.A. Regional Planning staff.   I am sorry that I have not stood up until now and stated my opinion on this proposed racetrack.  I am against it.  I have lived in this part of the Antelope Valley for ____ years now and I have enjoyed the peacefulness of this valley.  A racetrack would thoroughly destroy the country lifestyle that I and my neighbors enjoy.  A zoning change to allow a racetrack to be built in this area would not be fair to the property owners who live near the proposed racetrack.  Let the developer build a racetrack somewhere else.

Sincerely,

Dear Mr. Sackett, my name is ____________.  My home is located near the proposed FBMP.   I am writing this letter to voice my opinion about the proposed racetrack near my home.  I understand that the staff of the Regional Planning Commission has recommended that the Planning Commission approve the project,      case # 02-176.  I find it hard to believe that a county government agency could even consider a proposal that is entirely unsuitable for this area.  It would cause many negative impacts for the environment upsetting the natural balance of plants and wildlife.  I am also concerned about how the noise and traffic that will be created will affect my life.  I enjoy living in a peaceful and quiet area.  The race track will ruin the area for all of its residents.  Please do not allow this racetrack to be built.

Sincerely,
